Who is Who?

One day I put this cute outfit on Baby Nathan, his baseball T shirt over a white long sleeved onsie with navy pants and baseball shoes.  It was like de-sha-vu!  I couldn't help but take a picture of Baby Nathan in front of the very same bedding that Jaxton used.  Cute boys!!  I love them!

Nathan 1 month

Little Nathan is one month old already!!!  He first Smiled on August 15th.  He cooed and laughed for the first time on September 1st.  He can focus on someone's eyes really well.  Sometimes he will even stop crying when he makes eye contact with someone because he know someone is there to help him feel better.  He blows bubbles and blows raspberries.

Nathans eyes were grayish blue like Coopers at birth.  They are now a brighter blue like Dawson's.  His hands and feet are so tiny and precious.

Nathan sleeps well in his crib at night but loves to be held all the rest of the time.  At night he wakes up on average about twice in the night, which is great! He's a good little sleeper.  He loves  having a bunch of little kids looking at him and hovering over him all the time.

Happy One Month, Little Guy!!

First Day of School

The first day of school was here before we knew it. The boys are going to a new school this year called Oak Farm Montessori. It is a wonderful private school and is very hands on learning. Jaxton is a second grader and Cooper is a first grader. At Oak Farm the classrooms have first second and third grade all combined. The boys are in different classrooms that are mixed with older andYounger kids. Jaxton is in the Green Farmhouse with teachers Jamie and Michal. Cooper is in the Red Barn classroom with teachers Megan and Lori.  They had to shadow the classroom last school year for three consecutive days to make sure that the Montessori style was a good fit for each child.  Those visits went well and after being on a waiting list for a few months we were excited to find that they were accepted and enrolled.  We are looking forward to all of the things they will experience at Oak Farm.

Kaylee is in a co-op preschool with several other families. Each mom will take a turn teaching each week and the kids will rotate from house to house. She will love it.

Happy first day of school!

Kaylee Update

Kaylee Joy, a true joy in our family.  Here are some updates about her.  She absolutely loves her "kitchen."  One morning as the boys were getting ready for school, they got a little sidetracked and I found them all bundled up in blankets playing restaurant.  They had a system of orders and food going.  It was too cute not to capture the moment.

Kaylee's good friend Mia was at the zoo with us one day. The kids love to play in the water fountains at the zoo.  She wasn't too happy in this photo, but she still had a lot of fun with her friends.

Here is a phrase from one of Kaylee's recent prayers " Thank you that baby Nathan came out of mommys belly and now her belly is squishy like jello." :)

Downtown Fort Wayne has an annual "Chalk Walk" where people create pictures out of chalk on the street down the main road.  Somebody created a beautiful depiction of Elsa, and Kaylee was quick to find it.  It was her all time favorite of the entire chalk walk.

Silly girl in winter wear & underwear!
