Nine Years and Going Strong

Nate and I celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary. My parents were kind to keep the kids all day so that we could spend a day together kid less.  We had a lot of fun.  First we went to the Salt Lake Temple and did sealings, which we thought were appropriate for our holiday.  It was neat to hear the sealing blessings again and be reminded of the potential our lives have in the eternities as we are faithful.  We did marriage sealings and we did sealings for some daughters.  The temple is so beautiful and intricately painted and so very old fashioned.  It was very neat to be in there.

After our trip to the temple we went shopping for swim suits and headed up to Cowabunga Bay, a fun water park in Draper.  It was a lot of fun to spend the day without kids.  After our fun there, we had dinner at the Melting Pot restaurant in downtown Salt Lake.  That is always a fun experience doing fondu for cheese, meat, and chocolate.  It was a great day together and we were able to think on Our lives and how we got to this point.  More than anything, I am so grateful to have a life partner that knows me in and out and who I know in and out. We both know our kids better than anyone else, and we have each other to turn to in every situation.  I love Nate more and more everyday and feel such gratitude for him in my life.

Happy Ninth Anniversary to us!!!
