American Fun with Elene

Elene Has been a joy to have around! We want to give her the best American experience we can. We took her to Culver’s and also to Chick-fil-A. We also took her to the Alan County Fairgrounds. It was on the fence whether she liked the rides or not but all the people, all the food, all the carnival games and rides is also very American!

The program took the Spanish kids to Kings Island on Friday. Cooper and Kayleigh Lee joined in the trip down to Cincinnati area to go with the Spanish kids On the check. I don’t have any photos, but it sounds like they had a blast. They learned some Bosque dancing and did some TikTok videos. Cooper likes to make everyone laugh with his Spanglish and his thick American Accent, and I think they had a great American time!

We also took her to Shipshewana and the flea market there, To see all the horses and buggies and the Amish community. We ate at the Bluegate restaurant so she could experience, Amish comfort, food, and the marshmallow peanut butter. Our favorite part of Shipshewana Were the puppies for sale. All of them were begging to bring one home, including Elene, who joined in the begging.
